“Discover Your Inner Cowboy”™ at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch! Nestled in a peaceful river valley at the mouth of Colorado’s Big Thompson Canyon between Estes Park and Fort Collins, Colorado. A guest ranch since 1946, Sylvan Dale is also a working cattle and horse ranch that emphasizes family togetherness and participation. They are most proud that so many of the guests are “repeat” guests coming back time and again. They are open year round for meetings and retreats, weddings and receptions, family reunions, “bunk” and breakfast, private celebrations, and dude ranch vacations.
Sylvan Dale Ranch wants to share the beauty of the ranch with others by reflecting the essence of “home” through the natural environment, the facilities, the people and the service. You will find home-cooked food, Tillie’s cinnamon famous cinnamon rolls, and legendary Jessup hospitality! Their comfortable country accommodations, cozy cabins and gorgeous scenery will make you feel right at home!

If you prefer to keep your catch, head for the stocked ponds where brightly colored rainbow await. Evening fun is designed with everyone in mind…Cowboy entertainment, Native American folk tales, and songs around the campfire. What better way to embrace the spirit of the Old West!
With so much to do and see you won't know where to start! Whether it is relaxing or joining in one of the many possible activities. There’s bird watching, tennis, horseback riding, games, cookouts, a special children’s program, western dancing, hayrides and MUCH more!
The heart of the ranch is the new poolside facility - The Heritage – for dancing, socializing and more! Meet with friends here for ping-pong and billiards in the Round-Up Room. Pull up a chair on the big wooden porch and enjoy a book from the ranch library. Find unique souvenirs in the gift shop. The Heritage showcases much of Sylvan Dale’s history…the perfect blend of old and new.
