Overview
Welcome to the Spotted Horse Ranch just south of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Come explore the many opportunities the ranch offers to experience a land that remains much the same as when explorer John Colter first set his eyes on it in 1807.
The Far West Whatever your dream of the West, it’s real here at the Spotted Horse Ranch. The valley cradling the Hoback River has been cultivated by working ranchers for generations. As times changed, the simple log homes and rustic barns gave way to guest ranches for the "dudes" who came up from the cities. Fresh air, unspoiled natural surroundings, and the feeling that time is suspended were in demand then and still in ample supply.
Memorable The experience of ranch life at the Spotted Horse is a dramatic departure from the way most people spend their day. The pace is leisurely, with hearty home-cooked meals served in the lodge dining room. Explore the wilderness surrounding the Ranch through a float trip, horseback ride, overnight trip or a hike. The quaint saloon hasn’t changed much in 40 years and is located in the main lodge along with a pool table and great room. Indoors or out, the Spotted Horse is an idyllic island of peace and quiet in a busy world.
Welcome After the cookout, the grill cools down and the campfire heats up. Some guest compare stories about their stay as others amble back across the river, eyeing the hot tub and thinking of a late night soak. Some chat with the ranch hands, comfortable with everything they have experienced. Although their stay is nearly over, the memories are just beginning. The Spotted Horse Ranch is what the West is all about. This guest ranch is an outpost of unpretentious comfort in the center of spectacular mountain country.
