The setting is picture perfect. A new lodge and cabins (constructed in 1995) are nestled in the trees overlooking the ranch meadows and horse pastures – with a backdrop of majestic mountains. Ranch guests stay in spacious cedar and log cabins furnished with western décor – blending modern conveniences with country charm. All cabin rooms have private baths with tub/shower, refrigerator, VCR, gas fireplace and covered deck – perfect for relaxing in hickory rockers after a full day of adventure and enjoying a spectacular Montana sunset.
A 12-person outdoor hot tub is conveniently located near the guest cabins. All rooms are non-smoking. |

Hearty buffet-style meals are served at the ranch’s main lodge, including outdoor BBQs on the lawn. A well-planned and healthy balanced menu is designed to appeal to a variety of tastes and appetites. You won’t leave the table hungry! Between meals snacks including fresh fruits and vegetables are always available. All ranch guests, hosts and guides sit down together to share in the excellent home-style cooking and western hospitality. |

Rich Ranch is "family friendly" and offers supervised activities including daily horseback riding, swimming, hiking, campfires, volleyball, horseshoes, and arts and crafts. Your child will experience an outdoor learning adventure in a family environment. Riding begins at age 6, but kids under 5 can also enjoy horseback riding in the outdoor arena (walk and lead). |

Wilderness Pack Trips:
It’s easy to combine a pack trip with your ranch vacation. An alpine lake overnight or extended trip into the 1.5 million acre Bob Marshall Wilderness for fly fishing and sightseeing could be the highlight of your stay! They host tour-type trips, and travel by horseback, taking all food and camping gear on pack animals. The mountain scenery is breathtaking and the upper South Fork of the Flathead River is a world-class cutthroat fishery and a fly fisherman’s paradise.
Local Area Attractions:
There are lots of things to see and do while in western Montana! Nearby attractions include Seeley Lake (12 miles) with gift shops, stores and a newly completed 18-hole golf course. Garnet (25 miles) has an 1880s era gold mining ghost town and Missoula (60 miles) offers a regional center of commerce with museums, historical tours, stores, theater, shopping and the University of Montana campus. Helena (90 miles) is Montana’s state capitol and offers museums and historical tours, and Glacier National Park is only 125 miles away. Throughout the summer there are several county fairs and rodeos within driving distance of the ranch. |

Recommended Airport: The Missoula International Airport (Johnson-Bell Field) is approximately a one-hour drive from Rich Ranch. The ranch provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the Missoula airport served by Delta and Northwest.
Billings Airport is the nearest "major" airport. However, it is a five-hour drive from Rich Ranch. |
