Tucked away in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, Red Horse Mountain is a year round escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is a place where the loudest noise may be the pounding 200 hooves hitting the turf as the horses are moved out to pasture or gentle chirping of crickets on a lazy summer evening.
Located just outside Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and within 1.5 hours of the Spokane Airport, Red Horse Mountain offers an all-inclusive vacation for just about any interest. Each cabin will be assigned a private guide and wrangler allowing them to choose their own schedule. Whether you spend your day on horseback taking in the view of the Coeur d’Alene Chain Lakes, speeding down a trail on a mountain bike, or experiencing the pride of catching your first trout, Red Horse Mountain will make sure your vacation is something you will remember forever. Other activities offered include kayaking, challenge and high ropes course, archery, sporting clays, hiking, whitewater rafting, fly fishing lessons and expeditions, riding lessons, and boat tours.
Red Horse Mountain has six private cabins, which sleep two to eight people, located just a stone’s throw away from the main lodge. Each cabin has one to three bedrooms, at least two bathrooms, a living room, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a private deck allowing you to take in the spectacular view of the valley floor. To assure that you are entertained even when relaxing, there are two hot tubs, an outdoor heated pool, and a full library. Included in the price of your stay are all your activities, meals prepared by a professional chef, snacks in the lodge, and evening entertainment such as a campfire with a cowboy singer, a wagon ride, line dancing, outdoor barbecue, or an outdoor concert.
Red Horse Mountain has a full kids program that is run by a certified kindergarten teacher allowing parents to rest assured that their children are in good hands while they take in some quiet time on the water or the trail. If families would rather be together, parents may accompany their children on an activity.

Reservation Policy
To confirm booking, 50% of rates is due. Balance to be paid 45 days prior to arrival with sales tax and service charge. All costs incurred during your vacation will be paid at the end of your stay.
Cancellation Policy
Your deposit (less $100) is refundable if notice of cancellation is received at least 60 days in advance of arrival date. Trips cancelled within 45 days of the arrival date are not eligible for a refund on days reserved. For large groups we require a contract which includes payment of remaining balance 3 months prior to arrival. No refunds will be given for late arrival or early departures.
