Welcome to Rancho de la Osa
Rancho De La Osa was established as a guest ranch in 1923 and has been owned and run by Veronica and Richard Schultz since 1996. With a dedicated team of both American and international employees, the staff at Rancho De La Osa reflect the diverse flair of its guests.
“When reaching the gate we realized we had found an oasis in the desert. Our stay has been spectacular ever since. The privacy and special treatment we’ve had has only made our stay more perfect. Your ranch is so beautiful … Now the staff, how lucky you are to have such pleasant and loyal people working for you … Again, I would like to convey just how wonderful you all are and we will not forget a minute of it. What a great second honeymoon adventure.” Alice and Jim McCluskey (USA)
“I have come to Rancho De La Osa during three different seasons and whether traveling alone, with friends, or with my children I have found each experience to be incredibly unique and worthwhile … The historic hacienda and guest rooms have been artfully refurbished to create an atmosphere of striking beauty and warmth; the meals are top-notch and the overall hospitality always leaves me feeling as if I have been among old friends.” Jennifer Burke (USA)
“What a delightful time Ernie and I had at the ranch. Our expectations were certainly exceeded. Each moment, each experience was truly enchanting … In addition to the one-of-a-kind atmosphere, what really sets apart the ranch is you and your staff. We felt welcome and comfortable, nearly like family … The ranch gave us indelible, lasting, and precious memories.” Wendy Peterson (USA)
“I just wanted to pass on my thanks to you for looking after Mr and Mrs C so well during their recent stay. They have returned full of praise for the ranch, the staff and everything - in fact Mr C rang me the moment he walked in the door back home! They enjoyed themselves immensely and he couldn't stop talking about it all, loved it SO much. Hopefully I will be sending more guests your way in the future, but in the meantime thank you again for helping make their stay so memorable and pleasurable.” Sally de Jong (Travel Counselor, UK)
“Thank you very much for taking such good care of us … many of the Korean teachers told me Rancho De La Osa has been the highlight of their stay in the US. They loved the rooms and the food, and they had a blast riding horses, learning to dance cowboy style and riding mountain bikes … None of us will soon forget the experience! What a magical place … thank you again!” Chris Bragg (Arizona State University, USA)
