| Children's Programs |
The ranch is one big kid's paradise!
A ranch vacation is an excellent natural experience for kids. Ranch 4 Saison's program is designed for families to do things together, such as hiking trips, or panning for gold, meno hunt, treasure hunt and the Tarzan trail.
Besides the horse stables and animal farm, the ranch is a giant playground from 2 years old and up. Not all kids are interested in the activities and that is fine. They can ride with the ranch's cowboys and cowgirls in the morning and afternoon if they like. Kids must be 6 years of age as of January to be a part of the hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding. Under 6 years old they may get on the horse with one of the parents. Parental guidance is required at all times.

| Special Entertainment |
July or September ... It's the Rodeo!
You can take a full day to go to Saint Tite to the rodeo show about two hours away. You may also go to the rodeo grounds that are 20 minutes away.
Ranch guests are allowed to attend these events. Tickets are not included in the package, nor is transportation.
Special horsemanship weeks are designed for people with or without previous riding experience.
The week program includes half-day riding instructions while sending you along on trail rides each day for half of the day. The itinerary is designed with lecture time and hands on experience in horse confirmation, nutrition, general health, hoof care, riding skills and much more. If you are interested in increasing your general horse knowledge with like minded people for a week you will surely enjoy the horsemanship week.
The lessons are taught by Steve or David, two of the ranch owners who are professionals in what they do. Steve and David's horse program is designed to teach you to communicate with your horse in a way that you and your horse will understand. Giving you something that you can go home with and apply to your riding situation or just to make you a more competent rider.
You can bring your horse to this or ride one of the ranch's own horses. The riding lessons are kept small so as to allow the ranch the chance to work with you at whatever level you are at.
You will be put into a group of riders that will ride either in the morning or in the afternoon. This gives you the chance to go on a trail ride or enjoy the other ranch activities for the other half of the day. You are also welcome to stay back at the ranch if you like.
January to June Horsemanship Week
5 nights/6 days - $ 1275.00 per person
Adults or children, you get a half day of horseback riding and the rest of the day working with wranglers or just relax and enjoy the ranch.

YOU GET UNLIMITED HORSEBACK RIDING! Walk, trot, canter and of course, gallop. Thrilling horseback riding on trails and in the wild.
The ranch, with its herd of horses, makes your life a little easier by getting you the perfect fit depending on your riding ability and experience level. The horse chosen for you will be yours during your stay at the ranch and will always be ready for you when you go out riding.
The ranch’s unique philosophy is simple: they believe that children need wholesome fun and many challenging experiences in the outdoors. Imagine the wonder of even one aspect of the summer or winter - wildlife watching.
It is possible to check with David to have a day or night out of the ranch to eat at the campfire and sleep under the stars just like a real cowboy. Please bring your sleeping bag for this activity.
You will ride with one of the cowboy or cowgirl wranglers along trails that will lead you through the forest, along rushing rivers and creeks as well as through mountain vistas. You can have lunch in the mountains on the Belvedere. The scenic view is overwhelming.
During your stay, the ranch will schedule a picnic or a sunrise ride and maybe a moonlight ride, for anyone who would be willing to go.
Depending on the season Jordan will add ice fishing excursions, archery, pellet gun shooting, roping practice and a four-hour kayaking or canoeing trip on L'Assomption River from April to June.
Summer & Winter Fishing
Ranch 4 Saisons has fishing equipment as well as mountain bikes for your use.
You may fish for trout year round. Try your hand at ice fishing.
Horseback riding is a very physical sport that requires balance, and strength. Anyone in good shape can learn to ride a horse.
All kids must be 6 of age to ride (under 6 may ride with parents).
Cowgirls or cowboys will be happy to take you on rides year round through rain and shine so beautiful when snowing. For those unfamiliar with the sport of horseback riding, instructions are given and there are also advanced lessons for those who wish to improve their skills.
Walking & Hiking
Two walks a week are available. An easy walk that brings you to the falls and a harder one that will bring you to Beaver Lake and to rapids. Your final destination will bring to a natural water hole with wild turtles. Half-day hiking trips are available from May to October.
Canoeing & Kayaking
In early spring and summer canoeing and kayaking are available for your enjoyment. Please remember that the complete program may not be available for those who stay less than a full week.
Hunting
At Ranch 4 Saisons you can hunt small game such as rabbit, fox, wild wolves, and partridge. Deer hunting is done in the ranch’s backyard. You can hunt with BOW AND ARROW for a month then the rifle hunting starts. It is possible to go hunting with Steven, Dave, or the expert, Daniel. Last year he got a 16-point deer 250pds empty.
And More!
During the evening you may find guests sitting around the campfire reading a book or having a coffee. Others may be learning to swing a rope, trying their hand at archery or with pellet guns.
Guests may also be seen relaxing in the sauna, in the Nordic Red River and dip in the enchanting whisky barrel (seasonal) or in the hot tub (available for you anytime during your stay). You are also welcome to try the ranch's small and large water slides.
Western hospitality is unique and heartfelt and sparked the cowboy within!
Personal transport from admission to the ranch with the ranch's Bigfoot VTT.
January to June Horsemanship Week
You are welcome to help out with the ranch chores. They are fun for those who have left laptops behind. You work half the day with wranglers, then ride the other half of the day, or you may want to do other activities on the ranch.
Per person: Adults/Children 5 nights/6 days - $1275 CDN.
Lessons are also available to those who would like to increase their riding skills.
Cowboy boots or boots with a small heel and sole are required for riding. If you have none, the ranch's western boutique will be able to sell you a pair of handmade cowboy boots made by Boulet.
The ranch reserves the right to limit the availability of activities due to weight, age, or anything that will affect physical abilities. All guests must sign a Release of Liability form. If you would like to do activities outside of the ranch you must provide your own transportation.
