Meet the Foster Family
In the spring of 1883, Jim and Rhonda Graham headed for the mountains, sparked by a love of adventure, a dream of homesteading and, perhaps, a touch of gold rush fever. They trekked up the South Platte River, followed Wildcat Creek and then, finally, found Lost Valley – an incredibly beautiful meadow nestled among the towering peaks. They built their ranch, began their family and created a legend for hard work and hospitality.
Since 1961 the Foster family is privileged to continue that heritage by maintaining Lost Valley as a working cattle and horse ranch. It’s a place to slow your pace, clear your mind, quiet your heart, and expand your vision.
Over the years, more than 14,000 families haves burned their brands into the pine walls of the lodge. Each brand is a special memory of folks who came as a guest and left as friends. We hope a piece of our ranch stays with you…a family memory that becomes more cherished as the years go by. Memories. There are plenty of them to go around at Lost Valley Ranch. And we’d love sharing them with you.
