And just in case you discover you have no riding ability (a literal “Greenhorn”) the ranch’s wranglers are the best at teaching city slickers how to sit in the saddle.
The ranch is truly the perfect western backdrop for horseback riding. You can count on two rides daily through some of the most spectacular scenery in Northern California, abundant in plant and wildlife. Bring your camera as this will be an experience you’ll want to remember forever.
Several times throughout the week, the trail rides feature several cookouts including lunch and dinner cookouts. There’s nothing better than the smell of steaks sizzling on the grill of open flames, sitting around the campfire near a babbling brook while the wind softly whistles through the tall pines.

Reservation Policy
A variety of pricing and package options are offered. Whether you prefer a full week, mid week, weekend, or day use package, or if you'd like a customized package specifically for your needs, Greenhorn tries to accommodate the ever changing financial and scheduling needs of guests.
For all reservations, a 30% deposit is required with the remaining balance due upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 60 days prior to arrival date for full refund of deposit.
