| Accommodations |
Accommodations at Grapevine are first rate - cozy, and comfortable, yet spacious. With individual furnishings, no two are alike. All have numerous amenities for your convenience, including coffee pots for coffee or tea, refrigerators, hair dryers, pool towels, and bathrobes.
Guest lodging is both air-cooled and heated, although heat is typically welcome only in the evenings. The casitas are free standing, while two of the cabins are a duplex. Shady groves of Arizona oak and manzanita provide seclusion for the ranch buildings. |
| Dining |
What type of food can you expect when you visit Grapevine? Well, mouth-watering to say the least. The evening meal menu offer Prime Rib, Plum Good Pork Chops, BBQ Ribs, Chicken Fajitas, or Swiss Pot Roast. These are certainly meals to plan your vacation around!
A side dish (e.g., rice, potatoes, pasta), one or two vegetables, homemade bread, and a salad, accompany all meals - with a fresh, tempting dessert to follow. Everything served at Grapevine home-cooked and prepared in the ranch kitchens, including the ice creams and breads - with the exception of the sandwich bread. Lunches vary, but always include a hot entree, cold meats and cheese for those who prefer a sandwich, and a full-scale salad bar for the health conscious eaters.
Grapevine is happy to accommodate vegetarians, but ask for advance notice at time of reservation to ensure the cooks are fully prepared before you arrive. |

| Children's Programs |
Grapevine Canyon Ranch... where you're never too old, but you have to be old enough. Ranch guests must be over the age of 12.
Due to insurance restrictions (the ranch’s pool is not fenced and corrals are too accessible to little people), Grapevine regretfully does not provide any activities or programs designed for nor can they accommodate children under 12 years of age. |
| Special Entertainment |
Grapevine Canyon Ranch is lucky to have a “singing” cowboy, and the ranch invites guests to enjoy live country music and dancing each week. |
| Additional Info |
Horse Camp - “Introduction to Horsemanship”
$390 (Rate is per person in addition to weekly rate, plus tax).
Many people approach purchasing a horse in much the same way they approach buying a puppy. They don't realize a horse - besides being a significantly larger animal - has a mind of its own and its own unique agenda. Throughout this one-week program, you’ll be presented a great many highlights of horse ownership - and some of the pitfalls.
Finish the week with an introduction to reining (western dressage) where you'll witness a well-trained horse and his rider performing a graceful ballet, each complementing the other, in a disciplined, mutually enjoyable performance.
Cattle Round-Up - Available May, July, October, and November - $50 (Rate is per person, per day of round-up, in addition to daily rate, plus tax).
Head 'em up and move 'em out! Come ride round-up with Grapevine Canyon Ranch. Several times a year, the ranch needs to gather their cattle and bring them to the corrals to accomplish a variety of chores. Join Grapevine for round-up and experience the cowboy way of life.
Pack Trips - Available October-November and March-June - $100 (Rate is per person, per night out, $300 minimum fee, in addition to daily rate, plus tax.)
Join Grapevine Canyon Ranch on a pack trip in the rugged Dragoon Mountains, once home to the fierce Chiricahua Apache. After a day's ride through their old camping and hunting grounds, camp will be set up in a picturesque canyon, then you’ll enjoy a dinner of steak, beans, and all the fixin's cooked over a campfire. Later, relax under the twinkling stars and listen to the lonely howl of a coyote, fall asleep to the snuffling and shuffling of horses jostling each other on the picket line. In the morning, the smell of cowboy coffee and sizzling bacon wakes you for the adventure of another day.
History Week
History here in the Sulphur Springs Valley was literally just decades ago. From the ancient people of the Dragoons Culture, to the Chiricahua Apaches with Chief Cochise and Geronimo eluding the United States Cavalry, to outlaws and renegades, this was a turbulent land. Walk where it happened... step into the past.
