Eatons’ Ranch is a dude and cattle ranch located on the magnificent, pine covered eastern slopes of the Big Horn Mountains in northeastern Wyoming. Located just 18 miles west of Sheridan, this guest ranch consists of 7,000 acres of beautiful open country with rolling hills, grassy meadows and hidden valleys. Twisting processions of cottonwood and pine trees mark the course of tumbling streams, which roll out of the mountains.

At Eatons’ the guests can do as much or as little as they like. Offered to the guests is the unique opportunity to ride one of their 220 horses unescorted after an orientation period. This allows guests remarkable freedom to fully explore the beautiful countryside. Guests can ride twice a day, Monday through Saturday, choosing between morning, afternoon and evening rides, depending on the time of season. They also have all-day rides into the Big Horn National Forest and a breakfast ride. For those who want a little more time in the mountains they have overnight pack trips to their mountain cow camp as well. When guests are not riding they can be found relaxing around the pool or soaking their tired muscles in the hot tub after a hike. Many people also like to spend time fishing the more than four miles of Wolf Creek, the bass pond or other nearby streams and rivers. Bring your own equipment or get everything you need at the fly shop. Anyone interested in instruction, brushing up on skills, or in a guided fishing trip can find what they are looking for right here. Ride, hike, fish, relax, and enjoy family and friends.
