Overview
Crossed Sabres Ranch was established in 1898 as a stage-stop between Cody, Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park. Being the first dude ranch in Wyoming and the west, this mountain resort is in the heart of the Shoshone National Forest with the Absaroka and Washakie wilderness as neighbors. Wyoming still is today what American was yesterday.
The ranch's primary activity is horseback riding on many diverse trails. Some of the ranch family-oriented activities offered are guided trips to Yellowstone National Park, guided fly fishing, wildlife interpretive programs, youth program, cookouts and arena instruction, pack trips and airport pickup in Cody. Log cabins are modern, with comfortable beds, country décor and smoke free. No pets, please!
Your hosts, Ray and Linda McCoy, and their staff are dedicated to Wyoming hospitality at its finest, creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime.
