Additional Info From September 13th - November 22nd, Cheff Ranch offers big game hunts in the South Fork of the Flathead, part of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Hunting season opens September 13 for elk, deer, bears, mountain lions, and mountain goats. The hunting license is guaranteed when you hunt with an outfitter and it allows you one elk, one deer, fishing and upland game birds. The hunts are between eight and ten days and each trip can accommodate six to eight hunters.

Accommodations at the two camps are in spacious wall tents that are equipped with wood stoves and cots for your comfort. The camps are located on Holbrook Creek and on Gordon Creek. Mick, three of his sons, and other top quality guides run both camps. Dinner and breakfast are served in a large cook tent. They are hearty family style meals complete with freshly baked bread and delicious desserts. Your cook packs a large sack lunch for you to eat while hunting.

A professional guide, who is licensed with the state of Montana, will guide you each day. The hunting, combined with the awesome natural beauty of the area is sure to make your hunt a memorable one. Many of guests return year after year.
Nearest Airport Most guests fly into Missoula, Montana (60 miles south) or Kalispell, Montana (80 miles north).
