Bridger Wilderness Outfitters has led expeditions into the Bridger Wilderness Area and the Wind River Range for more than 15 years. Bridger Wilderness Outfitters bases its operation from the Historic DC Bar Guest Ranch located 30 miles north of Pinedale, Wyoming, in the upper Green River Valley and adjacent to the 3 1/2 million acre Bridger Teton National Forest.

The Historic DC Bar Guest Ranch is a unique Wyoming ranch experience. The ranch stays are designed to get you into the feel of the Old West. Horseback riding, canoe trips, fly-fishing and over-night pack trips are just some of the more popular activities. This is a great place for the whole family. Located in the woods at the end of the road, just waiting for you.

Although recently renovated, great care was taken to preserve the DC Bar’s rustic charm. Though the ranch has generated electric power, the cabins are still lit by either oil lamp or gas lights. All cabins are equipped with wood-burning stoves.

Hearty ranch-style cooking is served family style in the ranch dining room. Relax evenings in the hot tub after a day of enjoying the ranch's spectacular backyard.

The DC Bar Guest Ranch is open year round, located 29 miles north of Pinedale in the Upper Green River Valley between the Wind River and Gros Ventres Mountains. The setting is in a beautiful rustic location amongst quaking aspen groves and wild pine stands with views of snow-capped peaks. The 240-acre ranch is bordered by over 3.5 million acres of forest. Wildlife is abundant in the area and wanders freely over our properties. The ranch’s beaver pond is full of trout and beaver. Winter is a wonderland at the ranch. Plan to visit for some of the best snowmobiling in the country.
