About The Bar 10 Ranch Family
Founded by the late Tony Heaton and his wife Ruby, the Bar 10 Ranch is a working cattle ranch and guest ranch. Today, the Ranch is still family owned and operated by Ruby and two of her sons (Kelly and Gavin).
Ruby Heaton Ruby is still very much involved with all areas of the ranch. Although Kelly and Gavin have assumed most of the day to day operations of the ranch and guest business, Ruby still oversees the Trading Post (gift and souvenir shop at the lodge) and assists her boys wherever needed.
Kelly & Heidi Heaton Kelly and Heidi have five children and really enjoy the agriculture side of the business. Kelly oversees the well-being of the cattle and horse operations. He has a natural ability with animals, and has begun retailing our own Bar 10 beef directly to our customers. This gourmet all natural grass fed beef has proven to be very successful as well as rewarding for the family.
Gavin & Andrea Heaton Gavin and Andrea have three girls and love staying at the lodge. They have been supervising the recreation business (tourism) since 2000. Gavin has inherited a strong ability in making everyone that comes through the ranch feel right at home and part of the family.
